The documentary Single Mom 2, directed by Aqila Farahmand, won the Best Short Documentary Award at the 4th edition of the International Children Care Film Festival in France. The festival occurred from November 19 to 23, 2024, at the Christine Cinema Club in Paris.
This documentary presents a powerful narrative about the challenges single mothers face in Afghan society. It was produced by a graduate of the Bamiyan Art Academy in 2019.
