Alemi Rahman is an independent filmmaker who has graduated with an MA in Digital Films from the London South Bank University and has previously produced many short films and documentaries in many countries, including Afghanistan, Finland, and the United Kingdom. Some of his films have been screened at various international film festivals, including the BBC World Service and Sundance TV. Alemi, as a "Master project", funded the Bamyan film project and also, as a multimedia producer, organised the 1st and 2nd Afghan international film festival in London.
He is one of the supervisors who will supervise digital filmmaking, including script, videography, editing, and film marketing in both Persian and English. His passion is supporting film talents in vulnerable countries. Previously, he taught experimental filmmaking as a volunteer supervisor in the Bamyan Art Academy, which has been the most important education film centre in Afghanistan.
